LA GRANGE, N.C.- The highest priority for the Town of La Grange is the health and safety of our community. Following the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Gov. Roy Cooper, and local health officials, we will implement a social distancing service model beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
As a precaution to combat the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), we will temporarily restrict walk-in traffic at the Town Hall until further notice.
Residents and contractors are asked to use online resources, contact the Town Hall by telephone to secure permits, make payments, or submit service requests. We will continue to operate the drive thru and check the drop box as always during normal hours of operation.
The Planning Board Meeting scheduled for March 23, 2020 and Town Council Meeting scheduled for April 6, 2020 have been cancelled.
For the protection of our citizens and their guests, the Community Center will be closed to the public until further notice. All Community Center rentals scheduled during the time that the Community Center is closed will be cancelled and refunds will be issued. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
