Town of La Grange Job Opportunities

The Town of La Grange is currently accepting applications for the following positions: 

PUBLIC SERVICES WORKER I

Responsibilities include work associated with Public Works Activities, including refuse collection, maintenance of water, sewer, and street systems, mowing, string trimming, operation of tractors, bush hogs, lawnmowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, other hand tools and other associated duties. Salary Range: $20,600 - $28,296/yr.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT OPERATOR-TRAINEE

Performs work generally associated with water and wastewater treatment in the operation of the wells and the wastewater treatment plant. Duties include the operation of tractors, bush hog, lawnmower, string trimmer, and hand tools required to perform routine maintenance on motors, pumps, piping, and other related equipment. Weekend, Holiday, and On Call duty is required. Salary Range is $20,600-$28,296/yr.

GENERAL APPLICANT INFORMATION

Applicants for each of these jobs must possess or be cable of obtaining CDL License upon employment and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Benefits include paid vacation, sick, and holidays, Local Government Retirement, health, dental, and life insurance. Salaries are dependent of qualifications and certifications held (if applicable). Applications may be picked up from Town Hall at 203 South Center Street, La Grange Monday-Thursday from 8am-5:30pm and on Fridays from 8am-12:00 noon.
