The Finance Department is responsible for the management of the Town funds. The department is responsible for daily accounting activities and the collections related to charges for services in the form of our monthly utility bills or other services rendered by the Town.
Law Enforcement Services are provided to the citizens of La Grange through a contract between the Town, Lenoir County, and the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office.

Planning, Inspections, & Safety
Planning & Code Enforcement is responsible for all Planning Related functions and enforcement of the Town's Code of Ordinances related to development property maintenance and upkeep.
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Town’s Wastewater Collection system, Storm Drainage System, Water Distribution system, Municipal Streets, Solid Waste collection (other than weekly garbage collection and recyclables which is performed by an outside contractor), Yard Waste Collection, and meter reading services.
Though the town does not a formal Recreation Department, programs, services, and facilities are offered for residents and visitors.
The Town of La Grange operates a 750,000 gallon wastewater treatment plant facility.
